Artist's Description

Most the peaks surrounding Summit County Colorado are 12,000 ft to over 14,000 ft. Many times the clouds are not much higher. When the clouds are low, the clouds turn gray soon after the official sunset. On June 17, 2017, the clouds were much higher and the sunset was prolonged for another 30 minutes. The suns rays could still reach the high clouds.
