Artist's Description
A Momma Bear and her two cubs were foraging for acorns when I first saw them across the South Platte River inside Waterton Canyon. Eventually they came down the mountain and swam across the South Platte River. I suspected they would come up to the road. They did. Several other photographers, bikers, hikers and fisherman were up on the road. We all backed off so they could pass easily. Momma went across first. Then this cub went across and went further up the hill. This cub is standing up looking for its Momma.
