Provides west slope water to the eastern slope through the Robert's Tunnel that goes under the continental divide exiting in the South Platte River near Grant, Colorado.
Summit County is both a winter playground and a summer playground. In the winter, there are three major ski areas in the county with several others just beyond the county borders. In the summer, hiking and biking take over. Also Lake Dillon is filled with boats. Most are sail boats. Lake Dillon is considered to be the Black Diamond of the sailing world.

I still have albums filled with memories of my youth taken with my Kodak. In the mid 1970's, I got my first SLR 35mm Camera. I had an Olympus OM-1 and later on an OM-2. At one time I had a color lab in my basement. It was a fun hobby but very expensive and the results were questionable.
