Artist's Description

This was taken in one of my backyard Koi Ponds. The Lotus buds open for three days only. On the fourth day the petals fall. This is a 2nd day bloom. It has lost a lot of the rose color. There are two large Koi under the blossom and they seem to be splitting the Lotus.
