Artist's Description

This Rufous Male took over the hummingbird feeder in our backyard in Dillon, Colorado. Most the time he was on the top of the Shepherd's hook or on a nearby tree branch. If any other Hummingbirds came to the feeder he would chase them away. The Rufous Hummingbirds are considered to be the Bullies of the Hummingbird world.
