Summit County is both a winter playground and a summer playground. In the winter, there are three major ski areas in the county with several others just beyond the county borders. In the summer, hiking and biking take over. Also Lake Dillon is filled with boats. Most are sail boats. Lake Dillon is considered to be the Black Diamond of the sailing world.
