Taken along the Old Dillon Dam trail at Lake Dillon. Golden Aspen were at their prime. One of the finest trails to hike in Summit County, Colorado. Got a bonus on this photo. Looks like a Butterfly Clouds or maybe Angel Wing Clouds in the deep blue skies seen at high altitude.
Summit County is both a winter playground and a summer playground. There are 4 major ski areas in the county plus several more that are nearby. During the summer, it is a very popular sailing destination at Lake Dillon. Two Marinas service the water enthusiasts. The Marina at Frisco Bay and the Lake Dillon Marina.

I still have albums filled with memories of my youth taken with my Kodak. In the mid 1970's, I got my first SLR 35mm Camera. I had an Olympus OM-1 and later on an OM-2. At one time I had a color lab in my basement. It was a fun hobby but very expensive and the results were questionable. In about 2000, I got a call from Kodak wanting to know if I liked photography and if I had a computer. I was chosen to be part of a digital camera focus group.
